CranioSacral Therapy
“Touching the pulse of the soul.”
What is CranioSacral Therapy?
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of the CranioSacral system. An imbalance or dysfunction in this system can cause sensory, motor and/or neurological disabilities or chronic pain. CranioSacral Therapy releases restriction in the system to improve its function.
CranioSacral balancing enhances the body's natural healing processes and has been proven effective in treating many medical conditions associated with pain and dysfunction. CranioSacral Therapy is not so much massage as it is a series of gentle holds at the cranium, spinal column and at the sacrum.
CranioSacral Therapy can be profoundly relaxing, exhilarating, deeply moving, helping people resolve old mental and emotional issues. This light-tough therapy involves gentle manipulations as the therapist test for restrictions and assesses the quality of the CranioSacral rhythm, which your body regulates and maintains in order to feed and nurture our delicate nervous system tissues. CranioSacral helps to release blockages and restriction patterns in the body that do not serve your health, leaving you feeling restored, refreshed, relaxed and balanced. The pressure used is exceedingly light and although the focus is in and around the head and spinal column, the treatment may be applied anywhere on the body. CranioSacral Therapy can provide support for dealing with challenging times in life, like work related stresses, relationship issues, serious illness or death of a family member or friend, moving, etc.
CranioSacral balancing can be helpful for:
- Migraines and Headaches
- Chronic Neck and Back Pain
- Stress and Tension Related Disorders
- Chronic Fatigue
- Sinus Pain
- Fibromyalgia
- TMJ Syndrome
- Scoliosis
- Hip, Knee & Foot Pain.
- Central Nervous System Disorders
- ADD & ADHD
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

As a body worker for 24 years i’ve learn the most important gift I can give a client is to listen with presence and love. By centering myself in the present moment, I listen to the clients body, listen to the system. As I listen the body speaks. It communicates in a language beyond words, even beyond thought. It is a quiet and precise place where the conversation takes place, like tuning a radio dial beyond all the static to a specific station then listening to what the body has to say, what the body is asking for. From this place of listening, this place of stillness I intuitively access my tool box of healing modalities with the intention to return the clients system to a “Still Point” thus allowing their body to reset and heal. I believe the body is the perfect design able to heal from any and all dis-ease.
My endeavors as a body worker are integrated in discovery of how we can feel our best. I am fascinated with bodywork and massage; it has been my life‘s work. It is a joy and an honor to help others on their path. I can facilitate clarity about how you feel in your body on this journey, and even where it is leading. Touch is affirming of our individual value and is a most potent medium for determining our sense of self. Conscious touch communicates to the nervous system that we are safe and we belong to the tribe. The physical merits of bodywork have been scientifically proven, yet the spiritual and emotional components can be vastly more profound. After our session you will be refreshed, comfortable, fluid, relaxed, blissful, and you may have a clearer sense of who you are. I have experienced this gift when receiving massage, and it is my mission to bring it to you.
I began my journey into Healing Art’s in 1998 at Tsuko School of Eastern Therapy where I received my 500 hour CMT certification under the teachings and guidance of Dr. Glenn Furukawa. My studies under Dr. Furukawa were focused in Shiatsu, Acupressure, Sports Therapy & Deep Tissue Massage. After Tsuko, I studied Esalen Massage (100 hour certificate) & Chi Gong at Esalen Institute in Big Sur under David Streeter. Also receiving my Reiki 1 & 2 attunements while at Esalen Institute. From there my studies took me to Twin Lakes College of Healing Arts where I studied Polarity Therapy & Acupressure (150 hour certificate). After accumulating 750 hours of study I embarked into my journey as a body worker. With the desire to elevate my practice and knowledge of body work, in 2017 the universe lead me to ISPB @ Life Energy Institute in Topanga where I completed the Integrative CranioSacral Unwinding Program (250 hour certificate) under the teachings and mentoring of Gary Strauss. 1000 Hour Holistic Health Practioner.
